Pop Excavations

“Pop Excavations” is a program created by Tom Barry and Dean Harris that covers a broad range of musical time periods (post-Civil War to present), genres (blues to dubstep), artists (Miles Davis to Boston), and cultures (American and World music). Their show further educates the listeners in each of these topics through a combination of both talk and playing music. The shows are topical, and sometimes relate to specific contemporary events.
