The Thomas Jefferson Hour

Airing on KPOV every Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m., The Thomas Jefferson Hour is a weekly radio program dedicated to the search for truth in the tradition of our third president. Clay S. Jenkinson, a nationally-acclaimed humanities scholar and award-winning first-person interpreter of Thomas Jefferson, portrays the president on the program. Jenkinson answers listener questions in the persona of Jefferson; our discussions are grounded in the writings and actions of the Founding Father. Our mission is to generate discourse between neighbors, friends and family, and to revitalize a national conversation about issues that are essential to our country and its citizens. The Thomas Jefferson Hour is a call for a second American Enlightenment.
