Crook County Library, Prineville: Do you or someone you know take opioid medications such as prescription painkillers like OxyContin, Vicodin, Percocet or street drugs like heroin? An overdose does not have to be fatal. Naloxone (Narcan) can treat narcotic overdose in an emergency situation while waiting for Emergency Services to arrive. It is not addictive and very safe to use. Crook County Health Department in partnership with The Central Oregon Health Council will be holding community Naloxone Trainings at 12:30 and 5:30pm in the Broughton Room in the Library.
